Ingrid grew up in a society where you are born with your death date on your wrist. The ADCC (After Death Clean-up Crew) shows up at her house 20 minutes before the alloted time and tell her it will be painless. She lays down on the bed and she dies, but then, she comes back. She survived her death date. The ADCC however does not seem surprised about this change of events and quickly takes care of the problem by taking Ingrid... somewhere. Only problem is, Ingrid can't remember anything about her former life, not even her name. Now Ingrid Knight joins up with the other people who died and came back in order to find out who they are, why they lived, and the true meaning behind the death dates.
