Her and the sea And that's when she told me I fell in love with the sea They are both apart of me And her She was everything And yet I'm still afraid to fall These words bury me like rocks And when i grab them they sink in deeper I'm drowning in the words she says I know she will stay So why am i so scared These rocks will turn to balloons And fly away like the birds Free from me And my dark loneliness at the bottom of the ocean Leaving me to sink Till i hit rock bottom

Have you ever skipped stones? Watched as it skipped along the water leaving ripples in its wake? We're the same, you know. People, stones- we both believe we can get to the other side and deny the inevitable. That we sink, to the bottom where we belong. I was foolish to believe anything else. Here's the story of you and I. The hard and ugly truth along with the heartfelt lies we told to cover it up.
