The sequel we've all been waiting for and the stunning conclusion to the Sonic Rush series. Inspired by Shirojyuu and S0LV0's Ost "Sonic Rush 3," this story aims to explain how Eggman took his defeat from Sonic and Blaze for the second time, how he and Eggman Nega planned to crush our heroes for the final time, and how future events in Sonic history began to take place. Though this is a fanfic, I made it a goal to make this as true to the Sonic games (Rush in particular) as possible. If you enjoy or there is a mistake within the text, feel free to let me know. Without further ado, prepare yourselves for a Sonic adventure like no other.

A fanfiction set in the Sonic the Hedgehog universe but with the main character being Shadow the Hedgehog, set in it's own universe with a timeline very similar to the main games Shadow must stop a new super-villain who goes by the name The Cyborg, a mad scientist who seems to be hell bent on taking Shadow out and acquiring alien technology to further his goals. As of now, this is a first draft and once I've completed every single part I will then begin working towards a second draft and after that I will continue to tweak it up until I see it worthy of being made into a comic book. The story will have two sides, Team Dark and The Cyborgs. All characters except for original ones like The Cyborg and Lucy, for example, are owned by their respective owners, but yes, you can use the original characters too. Fanfictions are not particularly my favourite thing to do, but I felt like making some as they tend to get you an audience so I figured why not start with this?

As many Sonic fans are aware, Sonic Forces didn't live up to our expectations. Barebones, linear gameplay, overly forced "nostalgia", and a story that felt extremely half-baked. That's why I've decided to completely rewrite and revamp the story of Sonic Forces in the alternate take of the game. I've gone through the game's script and made some very heavy changes to improve upon the story. (gameplay is a whole other thing, I'll leave that to modders). If you wanna see what Sonic Forces COULD have been, then feel free to jump into this What If Story. DISCLAIMER: All the following is my own personal opinion/take. They belong to SEGA, SMG4 himself, Nintendo, and Glitch Productions.) =================================== During the day that Sonic was crowned as king, Eggman attacked Mobotropolis with a full on invasion to take down the Freedom Fighters. Eggman planed to use the Phantom Ruby to banish Sonic and his friends to another dimension, making sure they stay there and never return. After a long fight with Metal Sonic, as both he and Metal became super, Sonic was defeated but Eggman pulled the Chaos Emeralds from Sonic and Metal Sonic before the robot hedgehog could deliver the final blow. Eggman disowned Metal and called him useless before firing the cannon. But Metal chose to take the Chaos Emeralds when the portal became unstable and turned into a black hole. While grabbing the Ruby, Metal Sonic sacrificed himself to save the world, making everyone believe him to be gone... However, they did not know that he was sent to an alternate dimension, where he would begin his new life becoming a hero in the SMG4 universe, proving he will be a better hero than Sonic.

However some things will be similar like the way Amy eliminates her rivals and what the school looks like. Other than that this isn't suppose to be a yandere simulator story)

Before they could ask, the Master Emerald glows up and teleporting the entire world of Sonic to another world. A mysterious yet magical world where mirrored their world but differently. That's where they meet new allies with special abilities and other creatures as the search for the Chaos Emeralds again who was got spread away. Will they find the person they are looking for and stop Mephiles from destroying everything? (This story is based on Sonic Prime and Sonic X Shadow Generations).
