The sequel we've all been waiting for and the stunning conclusion to the Sonic Rush series. Inspired by Shirojyuu and S0LV0's Ost "Sonic Rush 3," this story aims to explain how Eggman took his defeat from Sonic and Blaze for the second time, how he and Eggman Nega planned to crush our heroes for the final time, and how future events in Sonic history began to take place. Though this is a fanfic, I made it a goal to make this as true to the Sonic games (Rush in particular) as possible. If you enjoy or there is a mistake within the text, feel free to let me know. Without further ado, prepare yourselves for a Sonic adventure like no other.

Eggman disowned Metal and called him useless before firing the cannon. But Metal chose to take the Chaos Emeralds when the portal became unstable and turned into a black hole. While grabbing the Ruby, Metal Sonic sacrificed himself to save the world, making everyone believe him to be gone... However, they did not know that he was sent to an alternate dimension, where he would begin his new life becoming a hero in the SMG4 universe, proving he will be a better hero than Sonic.

As many Sonic fans are aware, Sonic Forces didn't live up to our expectations. Barebones, linear gameplay, overly forced "nostalgia", and a story that felt extremely half-baked. That's why I've decided to completely rewrite and revamp the story of Sonic Forces in the alternate take of the game. I've gone through the game's script and made some very heavy changes to improve upon the story. (gameplay is a whole other thing, I'll leave that to modders). For those who have never read Sonic (Archie) comics I suggest reading issues 193-195, will help to understand some points of this story. Due to the deadline to submit the fanfic, I had to make changes to the original ideas I had for the story. Flashbacks were shortened and were counted by the characters themselves.
