He is then told that though his friends betrayed him this time around, they can still be saved. He is then pushed back into time, but this time he is a woman born in the beginning times of society and in contact with the deities of the world constantly and is reborn throughout time like a phoenix until she reaches Tom Riddle's time and eventually back into her original time, but as a woman.
