An unlucky soul suddenly finds himself in a world that is not unfamiliar to him. In this world being a regular human is being at the bottom of the pecking order. Not willing to give up his humanity for power or bow to the supernatural races he will carve his own power and territory from humanity's original power, science. Watch as this man reaches for the power of gods with human means.
A/N-this story is an idea I had when I realized humans in DxD don't really have any power of their own. Any power they do have is by either a sacred gear, joining a peerage, or by getting a holy/demonic weapon. Even magic in DxD is just a crappy version of devil magic and no human has made it past ultimate class canonically. So my first thought was to Introduce a unique power system that is purely human, the Esper system from a certain magical index.
Also I'm a new author so any constructive criticism on how I can improve the story or my writing would be appreciated

Arion Griffin lives in a society where people with light magic are 'good' and people with dark magic are 'bad'. He comes from a long line of dark magic. Unfortunately, this causes many problems for his social life since his family's reputation precedes him and makes it so no one will talk with him. He is worried it will make his greatest fear come true. He is terrified he is on the path to becoming evil like his parents. Then, one day at school he gets an invitation from Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted. Sure he's heard of it, but only in rumors. The school is just for magical creatures to learn more about themselves and their history. It was made over three hundred years ago and still run by a fairy named Cassiopea and her daughter Cassia. Arion is excited to go because his parents refuse to teach him anything about other magical creatures other than dark magic. They believe it is irrelevant for him to know because they think he will take over the world one day. And why should a leader know anything about his subjects? Arion convinces his parents that if he goes to the school he can do recon on the other magical people so he can learn about them and make it easier for him to take over. With no friends, no siblings, and a very negative outlook on life, he heads to Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted. He makes friends and learns that just because he has dark magic, doesn't mean he is evil. *Idk if this is actually a good story but I had a lot of fun writing it! :) *This story has been editedComplete

This is not an Apocalypse
The world is changing, two years ago strange weather, various anomalies and strange creatures started appearing from nowhere all over the world. Some creatures were completely alien and others were familiar looking as if they'd stepped from myth and legend. What many of these creatures had in common however was their aggressive nature and predatory instinct. Things that go bump in the night, that shifting shadow in the dark alley way, the cracking branch right behind you. Nightmarish creatures now stalk the land. Monsters. That isn't the only change in a new world however, humans have also changed. Some unknown phenomenon has granted humanity access to incredible power. The very elements themselves can now be wielded by those willing to risk the dangers. Earth, wind, fire, water, suddenly magic has become possible in a modern world and there are many who are eager to develop and embrace their newfound power and help protect their fellow man from monsters. There are also many who are willing to make a profit from newfound opportunities this changing world provides. Unfortunately for our MC Jack, embracing newfound power and going out to valiantly battle monsters isn't quite as simple as most other people have it. He possesses the rare and not so sought after lightning element, considered the weakest element for certain reasons, pitied and looked down upon Jack is determined to become a successful monster hunter in a more and more dangerous world. A slow burn story with world building, dungeon delving, character progression, Litrpg elements and more. WARNING - The MC is not a Mary Sue, he is not super competent, or super powerful or super intelligent nor a paragon of virtue, just a normal guy in a not so normal situation and him growing to deal with it in his own way.

However... one day a man with horns appears in the dumpster outside her apartment complex, she thought he may have been a regular cosplayer just trying to get by... until she noticed his wounds and how fatal they were, he was undoubtedly swaying between life and death. Something within her had pushed aside her usual uncaring self and made her decide to help the man. Yet, she was too naive to realize how bad her situation became... Dazod is the Demon Prince (some already given the title "demon lord") has learned to not trust humans, but to kill them with no mercy, and not just humans, any species as well. However, when he travels to the human world one night he is chased and ends up wavering between life and death! Yet, he somehow survives with the help of a young human girl with golden eyes. Rules are stated that if a human finds out about you, you must kill that human. Somehow he couldn't do it, though this girl is rude to him, she doesn't believe him, so there would be no point. The day after an ordeal happens which causes Dazod to have to stay in the human dimension and having to protect Esme... even if he didn't want to at first. Kouh academy was now a cou'ed school , many boys were transfered including a young man with a unique presence that no supernatural creature could identify . Not only was his presence unique but his appearance attracted countless females . He was a child of a human and a angel , he is a Nephilim , a powerful creature that hasn't existed since the dawn of creation . How will this boy fare in a world he still doesn't understand , he is desired by all factions as his abilities rival that of God. My idea of a nephilim is adapted from the supernatural series , if u don't know what that is or haven't gotten to season 12 yet than i suggest you google it under (Jack Kline ) Also i will be using Licht Jekylland from servamp , i will only use his appearance and not his personality . A power long forgotten (Highschool DxD x Male Nahobino Reader)
For several millennium, Gods, Fallen Angels, and the Demons have been fighting an endless war, one that had put them all to the brink of ruin. However, one creature one one being came to passing as The Nahobino. The Nahobino is a creature formed via the fusion of a Proto-Fiend and a human. No one one knows how he came into being, and the factions putting aside their differences fought against this "thing." The three factions successful in splitting up the human and the Proto-Fiend, banished the Proto-Fiend to wastelands of hell, and the human wiped of all his memories hoping that no one would be able to fuse with him ever again. Thousands of years have passed since then and a new player has entered not by his own choice and not from their world. Female Izuku in the world of High School DXD
I know that I had already made a story where Izuku is in the world of Highschool DXD, but this is my own twist on that version of events. Instead of Izuku being transformed into a Dragon, she will stay human until she is met with the members of the Gremory Household within the Underworld... where she will become a pure blood devil through a small ritual by Sirzechs Lucifer which takes half of his powers in order to complete. Izuku will become the descendant of Sirzechs Lucifer... albeit through a roundabout way to become a pure blood devil.
