It had been seven years since the start of the apocalypse, the beginning of the end of the world - or at least, that's what it felt like. Everyone you knew from life before abandoned you or left you for dead. So much for the family you thought you had left; it hurt.
Life was fine until it wasn't. One day, the group of people you survived and fought through hell with decided you were not fit enough to roll with them. You thought for sure your world was ending... that was until you met the next most important person in your life, Joel Miller.
