One night 17-year-old twins Mateo and Mackenzie Kyler get fed up with the abuse and neglect at the hands of their drug-addict mother and decided its time to leave it behind and find what they've always wanted - a home. With many failed attempts at running away from home that resulted with them being brought back, Mateo and Mackenzie devise a plan to runaway the night before their 18th birthday to ensure their legal freedom.
