Once upon a time, in India, trains were super important for getting around. But behind the scenes, it was hard for the railways to buy things they needed, like spare parts for trains.

Then, a smart team led by Mr. Gupta came up with a cool idea called IREPS (Indian Railways E-Procurement System). It was like a website where people could easily buy and sell stuff for the railways.

With IREPS, small businesses like Ravi's could now easily bid for contracts to supply things like spare parts. Ravi, who always wanted to sell parts to the railways, was super happy when he won a contract through IREPS.

Thanks to IREPS, Indian Railways started working better and faster. Projects got done quicker, and it saved money too. It was a big win for everyone involved.

And that's how IREPS made Indian Railways better for everyone, showing that simple ideas can make a big difference.
