Shunned and snubbed, she lurks on the edges of society. But along with her cure is a gift: she has zyrkthryzyn (fourfold) wing, a great sign of promise. As the annual flight challenge approaches, Sylkryzyrlyn sees her chance to prove herself, but it goes horribly wrong.
