About a week after graduation day, the new Wild Boys, known as the rookies, will get their badges. In order to do so, they had to fly to Blue Halarge and undergo training. This time, the already-badged Wild Boys, Lord Henry and their teachers will witness the ceremony. However, the ceremony crashed when the red-eyed Halargians invaded.

About a week after Gary was rescued, Martin woke up with a terrible headache and a lump on his head. While on the way to class, he had a bad seizure so his brother, Gary, had to take him to the hospital. Meanwhile, the Wild Boys tried to investigate more about Michael's suicide attempt now that he's in a coma after his brain was deprived of oxygen. Martin ended up with two benign brain tumours that had to be removed which resulted in him needing a metal plate in his head. His recovery was rocky, he ended up deaf after suffering from meningitis, epilepsy and cognitive impairment.
