The time of peace is over. The shadows of Mirkwood grow denser, and encounters with monsters become ever more frequent. The world begins to falter, and the finely balanced order of life is shaken.
This is the story of a ring, and of how a journey east came to mean rekindled love for the half-elf Lithil and the Elven Prince Legolas.
An ancient friendship binds the two. Love at first sight that endured for an entire millennium. And yet fate had other plans than ever bringing them together.
Legolas became the prince one would wish for; Lithil, on the other hand, chose the path of a warrior, rising to commander and master of the blade.
Guided by duty and oaths, the two became partners in life only. A friendship so deep and intimate that new feelings could destroy everything.
And yet that is exactly what will happen on the journey east. Only how will it end?
Can a small ring make two stubborn Elves step beyond their own shadows?
