It all started with a smell. That had been what made Shikamaru take notice of Naruto. Some things about the 'boy' just didn't add up and the more Shikamaru thought about it the more he began to wonder what Naruto wasn't telling people, and, if Shikamaru was correct, why was Naruto hiding it in the first place? The genius just hoped he was right otherwise things could get awkward!
