I wrote this short passage when I was fourteen (14) years old.
My 8th grade English teacher gave us a website that had many different drawings of art and photography, and she told us to pick at least one picture that inspired our creativity and write a story on it.
This is what I wrote.
I will include the images that inspired this, however I don't remember the website we used anymore and I don't know who they are by, so I am sorry about that. The images do not belong to me. But the story does.
This is honestly probably one of my favorite things I've ever written, and considering it was written in early 2022, I still think it's pretty good. I like it. it's cute. it's symbolic.
I love the symbolism and I love that when I read it I still understand what the message is.
perhaps others don't, but I don't know. I've never asked.

Yes, that's what I read about him (among other things)-- he kept falling in love with unatteinable women. My story portrays Hans Christian Andersen as a young, fourteen-years-old boy. It's set in Odense, Denmark, in the late summer of 1818-- soon after Hans' mother, a poor washerwoman, remarried (two years after his father's death) and shortly before he was sent to a school for poor children where he had to support himself. Where he became, to be able to afford his schooling, first a weaver's, then a tailor's apprentice, a singer, an actor and finally, once his excellent soprano voice changed, a writer. Hans and Louise, his (fictional) step-sister, seek refuge from a summer storm in an old shed. There, they meet Rosalind, a lost Flower Fairy. When they decide to help her find the Butterfly Fairy boy she loves and intends to marry, she takes them into a fantastical world of Terra Sonalis, her home. A land of dreams populated by fairies, goblins, elves, mermaids, talking animals... All those mysterious creatures that fuelled Andersen's imagination for the rest of his life. ☆☆☆Complete

The events and themes within my pages have meaning, depth, truth-and most of all, reality. You are about to be taken on an adventure about a girl who's life is not like everybody else's. I look like a normal teen girl, I mean, I have hair and two eyes and two hands and feet like everybody else, but I couldn't feel more different. I have two moms, yes. She went to her room and locked herself inside the room. She slowly sat down and started crying, ''why does this always happen to me?" she said while putting her fingers in hairs. "I hate myself," she said, crying. Just then she got up and grabbed her sharp nail trimmer "I will end this" she said and almost cut off her vein, when she heard a very strange whisper. "Hey don't young Lady killing yourself is a sin" she turned and the nail trimmer fell off her hand. "Who is it?" she said but the voice did not come back, she looked inside the mirror she brought from her deceased relative. She watched her eyes, it was like her own reflection was looking at her, just than she felt her green eyes turning to electric blue, she got startled, then she turned and walked towards her bed, "It's like I am having hallucinations, can't die properly even " she said to herself and went to her bed. ****** She got up late in the morning; she didn't want to go to school. She turned to the other side of her bed. Still eyes closed she looked for a pillow but instead her hand touched something very hard, it was like a human arm, the manly odor was surrounding, first she thought she was dreaming, She hold him softly and hugged him. He was snoring faintly. She opened her eyes instantly, it was some unknown man on her bed and he was sleeping peacefully beside her, she narrowed her eyes to confirm it was indeed what she was seeing, she got up a bit while putting pressure over her arm. His light brown hair were fallen over his forehead, His broad chest was moving up and down as he breaths, when she realized that it was not dream, she got up and screamed. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh".
