Summary:
Davie is born without powers in a society were all people are "enhanced" to be the evolved species of humans. As the minority, Davie is harassed despite his "high-tiered" sister who is actually a superhero (the most profound profession). In order to achieve the free life he desires he cheats and lies to success eventually pushing his family and friends away.
