You fill me with such rage, such competitiveness, such arrogance.

Clove Dunn has lived her life hidden in the shadows of her famous parents. Her mother, a professional tennis player with six grandslams to her name, and her father, the most prestigious tennis referee the tennis world has ever seen.
She's always grown up in the comfort of her parents' tennis school, raised on the court, built to push people to their limits and test their skills. Though she's never played competitively, Clove is one of the most talented tennis players at the academy, hence why she's employed as one of the...well no one really knows, she's probably as close to a grand slam champion opponent any of the students at the academy get to rally against before they head to the big leagues.

Then there's Dominic Fraser, the golden child of tennis. He's been the player to watch for the past three years, and his rankings continue to rise. His goal: make the top three, and he's not far off. However, when Dom's coach is mysteriously arrested, Dom is left without a coach for his upcoming tournaments, a small blip in his success.

Soon enough, Dom and Clove's worlds collide. As her parents welcome Dom with open arms, Clove becomes more resistant to spend time with this arrogant show pony. His short temper and sarcastic comments are two things Clove can't stand. Her strong minded opinions and take-no-shit attitude only allows Dom to rile her up more. So, when they're forced to work together, the tension between them only grows.

What possibly could go wrong?

Besides, all is fair in love and tennis.

"I already killed your mother, Cam." As the words left my enemy's mouth like a mocking sneer, I growled under my breath at the mention of my old name. Memories started to boil up that I had been wanting to squash deep into my heart. Bad memories. "As you can guess, I'm here to finish the job." He continued with that ever-present sinister smirk on his face. And in that moment, a sudden burst of confidence just appeared within me. Or blatant stupidity. 'I'll take either one.' I silently admitted to myself. I rolled my eyes at his so-called 'threat', not really intimidated in the least. "Yeah, like that went so well the first time. The first time, you fucked up enough to get caught by the police." I pointed out. "The second time, your grown-ass men got their asses handed to them by two teenagers." I snorted at him. "Your odds aren't looking too good here, Berti." ~•~ Losing her father? Lovely. Getting in a car accident with her aunt, uncle, and cousin and being the sole survivor? Fantastic. Losing her mother because a deranged psychopath holds a grudge even better than The Grinch? Amazing. Being ostracized from her own family save from her paternal grandparents, and getting the blame for her mother's death? Cherry on top of the cake. Having to make sure three idiotic twats don't get themselves killed because they couldn't mind their own bloody business? Bloody hell, that's an entire ice cream cake with ten pounds of gummy bears. ~•~ Join Grace Stanton as she faces her demons and the demons of her past all while trying not to commit murder against her three new friends. Eva Graham is a guarded, no-nonsense social science major who studies human behavior to understand why people leave-and how to make sure she never lets the wrong ones in. She keeps to herself, avoids drama, and especially avoids campus athletes, whom she considers walking red flags. Cole Grayson is a third-year psychology major, a cocky ice hockey star with a grin that disarms and a fanbase full of puck bunnies. While everyone sees him coasting, Cole's under constant pressure-trying to go pro, balancing school, and keeping up a charming front to hide just how much he's cracking underneath. When Cole starts slipping in class, he's assigned a tutor: Eva. Neither is thrilled. She thinks he's a loud, lazy distraction. He calls her "Teach" just to get under her skin-she responds by calling him "Skates," with just the right amount of disdain. What begins as bickering soon turns into banter... then something softer. The nicknames stick, becoming a quiet thread that ties them together as friends-and maybe more. Cole falls first. Hard. Eva, scared of being hurt and shaped by people who've left before, fights it. Still, she agrees to go to one of his games-just once. But seeing him on the ice, in his world, adored yet somehow still alone, shifts everything. Then the bet surfaces. A stupid, careless thing made before he really knew her-and it threatens to destroy everything they've built. Surrounded by puck bunnies stirring drama, teammates with their own loyalties, and a past Eva isn't ready to share, the fragile trust between them begins to crack. Between jealousy, late-night confessions, and moments where one look says everything, Eva and Cole must decide: is love worth risking it all-even if it started with a bet, a nickname, and everything going wrong?

Ava Grey is your ordinary, yet ambitious high school girl, enduring life with her friends by her side. Later on, she finds out that the school's jock is her next-door neighbor, and they form a unique and inevitable connection. Asher Cooper is the well-known jock at Eastwood High School. Although he has serious issues in his real life, he's good at hiding them and his emotions. He forms a special friendship with Ava Grey and decides to provide her with unforgettable adventures and memories to liven her senior year, yet he doesn't like how good she is at reading his lies and true feelings. Does their valuable friendship last? --------------- " How about we forget about everything that's happening in our miserable lives right now and just be ourselves ?" I say all in one deep breath with a really convincing voice. " Under one condition, brunette." " Did I mention you're also very complicated ?"I point out as she rolls her eyes. " Your condition ?" " Later on, you tell me about your miserable life, because I feel like I just told you about my past, present, and soon enough I'll start talking about my future. So?" I sigh, running a hand through my hair. " Whatever you want, Grey." She smiles. " Now my idea?" " I like this side of you, Asher Cooper and I hope I see more of it. " " Don't get used to it Grey, because for now you'll have to see the competitive side of me. " and with that I smack the ball out of her hands as she gasps and I start dribbling the ball away with my feet that are full of energy. --------------- What happens to this strong and valuable friendship?
