Anna Grimm always had a rough life; she never knew happiness nor peace. She was raised to be an obedient soldier... a weapon. By Hydra from a young age making her into their perfect puppet, making her do as they said, having her executing their plans, experimenting on her. They corrupted her mind from a young age turning her into the Red Soldier. That changed though once Anna started growing a bond with one of her mentors known as the Winter Soldier.

After time together, they grew a close friendship in secret. But after a mission gone wrong the Winter soldier had gone awol. Only for Hydra to find out that the Avengers took one of their weapons. During this time they treated Anna more cruelly and put her through more training. They made her more powerful and obedient. They soon sent out the Red Soldier to retrieve the Winter Soldier, only to lose her to the Avengers.

Now years later Anna is happy and has a family... she's at peace. That all changes though when Anna is sent into a portal. Anna soon finds herself in another world where she has to pretend to be normal and fight against supernatural creatures. This world makes Anna see the world differently once again and has her struggling. As she spends more time in the new world, she soon meets many people, enemies, and friends. But as she meets people she didn't expect to catch the attention of the original hybrid and have her life entangled with the infamous Niklaus Mikaelson.
