Kaori is a middle school girl with a very bland, normal life. because of this, she's always found a way to escape it, daydreaming for hours on end, doing art and making up her own world in her own head. 

Before she was released from the hospital due to a car crash, her sister, Alina, mysteriously went missing. 

After she meets a mysterious being in her dreams, it appears to her in the real world, granting her 1 wish in exchange to be granted magical abilities, used to fight evil beings called nightmares.
