I've never been as good as the others. That was the first thing I noticed. I'm not fast like Ashana, I can't fly like Drithrax, animals didn't run in fear from me like Rokubi nor could I attract them like Asdiel. I wasn't powerful and I wasn't born with the magic I had. I was as close to human as an Infernal could possibly be. One raised by an ancient dragon whose days of fire are long since over, and who nearly didn't keep me.
