Lt. Commander Tessina Sevira is a Betazoid, just like her maternal cousin Denna Troi but unlike Denna, Tessina is a full Betazoid.
Tessina is a counsellor in the New Zealand Penal colony, where she forms a close bond with Tom Paris who visits her even when he doesn't need to see her.
Tessina is eventually stationed on the USS Voyager, again as a counsellor although she like Denna stayed on the Bridge.
