Katie a princess from Lmanburg never wanted to be a princess and would sneak out of the castle to go into the forest but one night she escapes for good after her parents try to make her marry a man she never wanted to marry.
She hides in a bakery where the owner Niki lets her stay. Dream declares war on Lmanburg so Katie joins the army fighting against Dream and his people.
Katie meets a fellow soldier Wilbur and she is good friends with him, the day of the war and everyone is in fear
