So I'm Christian and Ash Wednesday starts something called Lent. It basically is when Jesus went into the desert for 40 days with no food or water, and was tempted by the devil.
You're supposed to give something up or start doing something during those 40 days. I started by giving up soda, but then me and @Band_kid2000 had an amazing idea to do a short story each day. So I'll be doing both. Go check out her profile for her chapters.
We both have the same prompts to write about. So be sure to read both and then tell one of us which one was your favorite!!

He never had that special home. Even from childhood he didnt have it good, his father got worse over the years and the forced cristianity took a tole on the boy. Soon his last year of highschool, he met a boy. A boy who would forever change him. Travis met the boy and was a total nunce to him, soon though he would begin to question everything. Why he thought about him so much. Why he wanted to hug him, why he dreamt about kissing him. Why everything reminded him of sal. But as that all happened, he tried to pray and push it down. He tried to take it out on himself. Tried to take it out on sal. He tried to get sal away and distance himself and couldn't understand why the feelings only got stronger. He would soon find out and learn how to exept his sexuality. Though his father was in the way of that being fully successful.. My Life
This would be really boring. You don't need to waste time reading this. Not just boring, it might be even heartbreaking. The story was still going on, and therefore I had no idea whether it would end in a tragedy or not, but I had a feeling it would. And it did. We broke up under the striking, burning sun of 19th September, 2016. I write usually in a monotone description, therefore don't judge if you read this. My name is Rue, and I wish my life could be like the picture I put as a cover of my story, colourful, calm, and with a soulmate who keeps loving me all the way. However, things never happen as what we would like them to happen. I don't love my life, but I want to remember all that once happened. I want to look back one day, when I'm fully grown, and smile or tell my old self right now that I'm dumb.
