It hadn't taken Cedric long to find out that he could break hearts with just a smile. He had never had a real relationship--he just never had the time to. Between making prefect, Quidditch captain, and maintaining his good grades as well as writing home to his parents constantly, love was always the last thing on his mind. Ellie was a reader. She had always hoped that she'd find a love as great as in the books she was always reading. Maybe she'd meet a cute guy during her last year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Or maybe she was delusional. Either way, she never, in her wildest dreams, imagined that love would come from life-long, childhood rival.

Diggory?

"Even when the world falls apart, I'll keep smiling." They called Aurora Diggory a sunshine girl. She moved through Hogwarts like a beam of light-smiling at strangers in the hallways, helping first-years carry their books, laughing so freely it sounded like music. Her brightness seemed unshakable, untouchable, until the Goblet of Fire chose her in ways no one could have imagined. Until a single name changed everything. Until shadows crept into the corners of her life, threatening to snuff out the light she carried. Nothing could prepare her for the trials that followed. Nothing could shield her from the heartbreak, the loss, and the war that demanded everything from her. And yet, even in the darkness, there was someone who saw her-not the girl breaking under pressure, not the girl defined by tragedy-but Aurora herself. Someone who made her question who she was and who she could become. In a world where loyalty is tested, hearts are broken, and courage is demanded, Aurora must fight to survive-and to find herself again.
