I have been inspired by a shit ton of people but at the same time no one, I hope you get it. Most influential were:
1. The writer of "The confessions of a suckish writer" I was young, I had never rhymed before so She inspired it and I wrote one of my first poems about this book too.
2. "Tahereh Mafi" (this is very recent but yes It has made a huge impact) she is the Author of the Shatter Me series and her Juliette's POV is very powerful.

The Scars I Carry
A collection I've put together of a few original poems I've written over the years. These poems are relating to personal experiences and emotions, and I debated publishing them for a very long time. I've finally decided to publish some of my work in hopes that they can help some people through difficulties, as writing them helped me. I will be adding more as I write them of course. There are various forms and styles so each piece is different from the others, although this collection follows similar themes. I will be putting trigger warnings for each and every poem that requires them, as well as which triggers are contained in which poems that way you have the best idea of what you will find. If at any point you feel triggered by my writing or by something else, please don't be afraid to reach out for help, you are never alone, I promise you. The themes/possible triggers contained within this collection are the following; self-harm, suicide attempts and general talk of suicide, emotional and psychological abuse, childhood trauma, mental health and mental illness (anxiety, depression, ptsd, anorexia- etc), death and dying-and others. My mom died at the age of 54, she died of blood loss. My dad murdered her because she was protecting me from him along with my sister. Now I have to go to school... With cuts and bruises.
