It's been years since I've written. I was only a teenager back then. Now in my late 20s I can fairly say that my work has become relatively darker.
When life gives you lemons, you don't make lemonade. That's a myth. You smash some from anger, you eat some from hunger, and when life offers you oranges, you let the lemons rot.

"Unfortunately, I wish it was just a made-up story, something that belonged in the realm of fiction. But it isn't. I'm guessing it started happily at first. Just a naive 10-year-old enjoying what life threw at her. As they say, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade. But I didn't. I longed for more.
