In a world transformed by the sands of three millennia, the once-mighty Gods of antiquity have found their resting place in the embrace of the modern age. Yet, amid the grand tapestry of evolution, there lingers a poignant tale of a forsaken deity. Slain in the aftermath of the mighty Gigantomachy, their essence remained imprisoned, leaving behind a mourning mother and a devoted lover.
Now, after eons of silence, the eyes of the fallen deity slowly flutter open in the recesses of the Gods' prison. A glimmer of consciousness stirs within, patiently biding time as the divine essence yearns to reunite with the family left behind. A tale of grief, love, and the relentless passage of time unfolds, as the imprisoned deity awaits the moment when their form can once again grace the world.

Will they be able to survive it all, or will they simply become another Greek Tragedy? Or when, Icarus falls in love with the Sun, for the final time. *✧ο½₯゚: *✧ο½₯゚: Percy Jackson x FemOC (The Lighting Thief - The Last Olympian) (Book 1 of 3 in the Divine Series) Started: 12/24/2023 Ended: In Progress *✧ο½₯゚: *✧ο½₯゚: Icaria Kane's body was exhausted. She had pushed herself past her breaking point, and still continued on as if nothing was wrong. The demigod knew if she allowed herself time to take even a moment, her soul would physically crack in two. Now was not the time for weakness, if anything, she had to be stronger. She knew the other girls would mumble about her, but Icaria wouldn't listen to them. She refused to watch someone she loved fall at the hands of Thanatos again. If need be, she would offer herself to him in place. Yet, there was someone who noticed the young girl breaking apart. She could see the bags grow darker, and watched as Icaria began to eat less and less. It was the same someone who had saved Icaria all those years ago. And the goddess refused to watch that someone suffer any longer. The goddess, Artemis, stepped out of her tent in the early morning light. All of her girls were getting rest, taking the opportunity to relax with the very few days of peace they had left. All except one. In the distance, the goddess could hear the distinct sound of metal striking against wood. She took quiet steps, and watched Icaria Kane from a distance. The girl breathed heavily, her body slumped from exhaustion. "Icaria?" Artemis asked, stepping through the early morning fog. "Why do you cry?" The demigods body tightened, urging the tears to stop falling. She turned her body away from her goddess, clutching Hearth in her hands.

In the ancient breaths of the universe, an era so remote that it predates the very concept of time as we understand it, there thrived a regal figure, a prince whose visions were steeped in the purest of aspirations. His soul ached for a realm untouched by the maladies of anguish and the pervasive rot of depravity. In days long lost to the mists of antiquity, he glided through his dominion, an ethereal expanse teeming with the delicate splendor of endless blossoms. These flowers were not mere botanical creations but symbolic manifestations of hope and joy. Yet, that once vibrant tapestry of life has now deteriorated into a haunting tableau of desolation, ravaged by the relentless tempest of anger and the devouring flames of Greek fire. He, who once inhaled the nebulous steps of creation to impart vigor to the far reaches of the cosmos, now witnesses the slow, inexorable descent of that same cosmos into a silent, sorrowful slumber, an abyss where dreams are suffocated by the creeping fog of oblivion. Tragically, this boy was stolen - ruthlessly ripped away from the warmth of dreams that he so lovingly wove. He was severed from the sacred fellowship of his kin, the eternal and omnipotent Primordial Gods, beings of unfathomable power and wisdom who forged the stars and kindled the first sparks of life. More heartrendingly, he was torn from the nurturing embrace of his mother, the Architect of the Universe, Lady Chaos. Behold the poignant odyssey of Perseus: The Prince of the Cosmos, the final harbinger of the primordial essence, the Last Protogenos.
