The sirens may be too loud for my sensible hearing or they may be too close to me that they almost caught me. But they didn't. They didn't. And they won't. I have known this town since I was a child. I am behind the childhood tree I always used to hide with him. We would play hide and seek until midnight. Now the police are so near but so far from me.
