I'd always thought poetry was the most difficult genre to write. I thought everything was supposed to rhyme perfectly, that the syllables in each line had to be the same. I had a rather mathematical vision of poetry.
But, with time, I realised that there were no rules to poetry, and that all there is to it is pure emotion. I also realised the best poems are written in the dead of the night, when the world lies quiet and thoughts can finally resurface peacefully.
Here are the poems I write about love, heartbreak, and life in general. Hope you enjoy!
