Elements of War

Once upon a time, gods ruled the world. Not any of the gods you have heard of, per say, but similar. Think a mixture of all of the ones you have learned about in your history books. These gods each possessed an element. That element was theirs to wield, to use, and to bring life or chaos with. Kveykva was the god of lightning, and the overall leader of the gods. Below Kveykva, among many gods, were Vindr, the god of air and wind, Deloi, the god of earth, Istalrí, the god of fire, and Adurna, the god of water. These gods made the council. One day, the council made a decision. This decision, unbeknownst to them, would be their downfall. Out of the dirt Deloi formed the body of a creature, yet to exist, that somewhat mirrored that of the gods. Adurna directed water into the body, letting it flow through the vessels Deloi had carefully crafted. Istalrí lit a fire that became the soul of the creation. Last, Vindr and Kveykva together brought life to the creature, breathing air into its lungs and a spark in its heart. The first man was born.
