Riverlake High math teacher Richard Hext is a young and smart man, albeit awkward and shy, whom school girls easily fall for. However, he only has eyes for his beautiful friend and colleague, Carly Davis. After getting to know a bit of each other for two weeks or so, he finally gathered up the courage to ask her out.

Carly Davis is a student from University of Washington who is visiting Riverlake High for her research to get a degree in education. Never did she expect to meet such a nice guy like Richard who is only a few years older. She also definitely did not expect him to ask her out on a date.

Note: This is a very clichéd and cheesy story so if you like that kind of thing, I hope you will enjoy it but if you don't, well... so be it. And of course, everything here is fictional, including names, locations and events (except for their background story which was based on a real-life event).
