Meet Wilbur Soot, a college student who is just trying to make ends meet while dealing with the issues he has with his abusive girlfriend. Life has never been easy for him, but things take a turn for the worse when Alex, his old childhood friend, shows up.

Alex is now a gambler and a killer, and he has a proposition for Wilbur - to impersonate one of the biggest and dangerous Villains in the District, Ares. Wilbur's strikingly similar physique with the Villain makes him the perfect candidate for the job, but things quickly get complicated once he meets the Syndicate.

Little did he know that his decision to impersonate Ares would lead him down a path he could never have anticipated. With danger lurking around every corner and secrets waiting to be uncovered, Wilbur must navigate through this treacherous world and find a way out before it's too late.

The clues lead him to a reclusive casino owner with a "devil-may-care" attitude. But something is off. It's just too neat when all fingers point to him. However, Wilbur can't help but question his motives as he finds himself drawn to the casino owner in ways he's never felt before.
