While searching for one of London's missing children, Jake Wilde stumbles upon an ancient mirror of which he adds to his collection. Ever since then, he begins to experience very strange dreams, causing him to stray further away from sanity each passing day, Until one day, he feels compelled to take the mirror out and smash it. In doing so, a malnourished, blind, and naked siren woman emerges from the mirror. Not, knowing what else to do, Jake takes the woman on his boat and hides her from oncoming search parties
