The main character Elizabeth Sanders was an ordinary schoolgirl.. well not so ordinary, she went to school where only Werewolves, Vampires, Demons, and Witches. Her whole school was about dark magic, and one day going to war with The Woods Beyond, they called their school; 'The Darkness Beyond'

Elizabeth was never really popular, her and her friends were known as the freaks of the school, her friend Maise was a vampire, Joshua was a demon, Kaylee was an witch, and Elizabeth was a werewolf.

No one expect for her friends liked Elizabeth, they always never understood her, but her friends didn't either, instead they introduced her into smoking, swearing, stealing, and dressing in all black. this involved her into not going to church on Sundays,

"Elizabeth sweetheart, why won't you come to church anymore?" Her mother asked curiously, trying to find out what changed her daughter.
"Just drop it mom." Elizabeth called back at her mother.

The truth was, she never knew why she changed, she thought it was just normal. But in reality, it was all her friend's fault.
