Officer Samuel Farance is called to the scene of a catastrophic accident. After snooping around the perimeters he finds some ice cream boxes in the back of an 18-wheeler and takes one, but to his surprise there's something much more sinister within.

Written during my college years some 7 years ago. I apologize in advance some descriptions and implications that may not be pleasant.

A taxi driver stumbles upon a lack of meaning in his life in the wake of his elderly companion's disappearance. A man finding misfortune in fixing his and his family's lives receives a letter from an unknown benefactor during a tumultuous era in his homeland. *** A bundle of short stories I wrote over the past few months to explore themes, ideas, and stifled feelings about my experiences with life and the rest of the world. The following stories included within this edition are: 1. Sponge Cake 2. Miss Tori 3. The Duck Hunters 4. Improvisations Over Spilled Wine: Chapter 1 5. The Magnificent Mundane: Prologue I've also included general information regarding the works included above before you begin with the first story. I hope you'll enjoy them as much as I did writing them as an amateur writer.
