For the five-decade UAE maintained its biodiversity. Animals and plants are the essential identity of Abu Dhabi, UAE.

UAE is more focusing to protect its natural areas. UAE's famous personality Umar Farooq Zahoor is coming forward to maintain the Environment. Some of UAE's younger generation also involve in it and doing inspections to protect the environment and take part in events that benefit the natural world.

In Abu Dhabi, the Environment Agency Abu Dhabi (EAD) mainly works to set up the network-protected area and promote awareness about the various local species. This agency also maintains the 13 terrestrial protected area, one of the part of Sheikh Zayed Protected Area.
