Nintendo, the company and founding all father of Super Mario Brothers, an iconic retro game which made its debut back in September 13, 1985. Back then, they had no clue as of how popular the iconic plumber Mario would become, going on to become Nintendo's mascot and have over 200 video games. And the one behind the idea of the Brooklyn Plumber? Shigeru Miyamoto. Or at least, that's what Nintendo wants you to believe...because their plumber has a MUCH darker story than the Super Star's facade seems to show. Before Miyamoto came up with the critically acclaimed and popular game mascot, Super Mario, there was another. Y/N "Mario" L/N. The ORIGINAL creator and mastermind behind the beloved plumber but after a series of heinous crimes and an incident which led to his untimely death, he was wiped from the face of Nintendo permanently and all trace of him ever existing or working had simply vanished. Meanwhile within the Pride Ring of Hell, that very same man behind the Italian icon resides, laying in wake and dubbing his creation's form except deformed, just like his very own soul. You see, Y/N wasn't always a bad person, it's just life has a funny way of making people snap and for Y/N a simple accident was the cause of his breaking point and after he reached it, his fate was sealed. Now, within Hell you immediately think of fire, brimstone, screams and every other horrifying tale, except you couldn't be further from the truth. Treading his way through the underworld, Y/N, now going by the alias "M" had arrived within Hell right after a reigning Overlord and The Queen of Hell itself had both gone missing which left an imbalance in power. So, thanks to a deal Y/N had made during his travel to Hell, he knew exactly what to do and had managed to become one of the most popular yet enigmatic Overlords Hell has ever known. His goal? To ensure the success of a certain Hotel ran by the daughter of Lucifer himself.
