Alex is an arrogant and cocky boy. He aims to be a professional gridball player, and brags to everyone about his skills.

Y/N moves to Stardew Valley in an attempt to leave her past in the, well, past. She immediately is infatuated with Haley's beauty, mindlessly supporting her.
With the help of her friends and new family, Y/N learns to be her own person and see deeper than beauty. Haley loses her mean nature, and spends her time on Y/N's farm taking care of her horse. Alex begins to see past becoming famous, to see the people in front of him.

Y/N catches feelings for Haley, but refuses to admit she likes a woman. But her heartbeat quickens when she is around Alex, too.

Alex and Haley were always friends with benefits, but begin to see another side to each other, and their flimsy relationship begins to strengthen, despite that they both have feelings for Y/N...
