Being the avatar isn't easy, but neither is having a partner that has no time for you. Katara has been with Aang for three years, waiting on him to make more time for her. She tries to meet in the middle but every time she plans something he backs out last minute or has to leave mid-date. As much as he loves her, he wants her to be happy. So in order to give her the life she deserved, he let her go and left her heart broken.
As she tried to get over this breakup, Katara decided to move to the north pole to start fresh and get away from family for a little while, so she sets off on a ship she bought with some money she was given by her father. she decides to go the long way so she can spend some time to herself and think things over about her life and future.
Meanwhile, Lord Zuko was going through a nasty breakup as well, and the news spread like wildefire. To get away from the everything, he decided to take a boat out to the sea to clear his head, alone. A great storm appeared with no warning and his ship sinks.
before he could drown, Katara finds him and rescue's him.
Upon his rescue, he decides to go with her to the North pole while he waits for the rumors to simmer down. As these two travel together, old feelings and memories arose during heated argument's and lovestruck moments. As they near the North pole, Katara must decide what is more important: Her future, or their destiny?
