This is the story of a girl who has always been misunderstood, even by her parents.
Bubbles has had a hard life, even as a child. Being raised by a single mother and not  having her father around has negatively impacted her life and the decisions she makes. Her mother did her best to give her what she needed, but later on she figures out she can't depend on her either. Just like any other family in the black community, she deals with generational issues on both sides. She has no idea how to cope with everything going on in her life.
