Preface- It is said that sailors of the great sea came across beautiful women. These women had long gorgeous hair and eyes as blue as the sea itself. When they sang, their voices were so magnificent and their faces so beautiful that some of the sailors jumped ship to reach them. When the men began to approach, the women turned and dove deep into the ocean showing their dazzling fins. They called these women mermaids. They said the women came from the burning galleys where the timber turned into the flesh and blood of the green daughters of the sea. The sailors said that these mermaids would assume a human form and walk the streets of a market or fair. The tales these sailors told were not believed and they were ridiculed for the rest of their lives. Every night that these men would be on the ocean, they would hear the beautiful singing of the mermaids and admire them from the ship watching them flip and twirl in the water looking more and more beautiful each night. Slowly the stories about the mermaids faded away and people forgot the tales even existed. Eventually the sailors stopped believing too and the mermaid was lost forever...or was it?

Five Star Reviews for Atlantis Academy: "Omg this book was amazing I couldn't put it down or stop reading. I carried it with me open on my phone while I did everything just to keep reading. I need more of all of this. Epic story, epic content, epic visuals, just epic. LOVE THIS!" "Once I got into this story, I did not stop reading it. This is a beautiful story about a very awkward girl who is riven with so much pain and angst and yet... this makes her who she is and shapes her into the person she will become. The world she finds herself awakened to is magical and yet filled with the all-too-familiar cliques and tribes of the very human people who inhabit it. One word to describe the story: beautiful!" "The story pulls you headlong to the end and leaves you wanting to shout "No! Not yet!" ...If there were 6 stars, I would have given it that." *** Humanity is one secret society away from extinction. The children of Atlantis use magic to keep us safe. If they make it through the Academy. Hi, I'm Lyric. And I'm kind of a mess. ADHD, that's me. I'm a high school drop-out, late everywhere I go, and one screw-up away from being homeless. I'm a loner, and I like it that way. Who needs friends when you have a Redwood forest nearby? Trees never bully me like the kids did at school. Or get drunk and throw things at my head. After my mom died, I figured life couldn't get much worse. I thought it might even get better. Ha. The universe has a great sense of humor. I should've listened to the rumors about evil spirits. About the angry, ancient magical creatures haunting our small Oregon Coast town. But did I? No. That was my first mistake. And it might be my last. 'Cause now I'm in a battle for my life. A whole new world has opened up... a magical world I don't understand. And the blood in my veins says I belong here. But I have to prove myself to save myself. And when have I ever done that?
The Alphas Mermaid by khloe2346

The alphas mermaid I looked into the eyes of the alpha, his deep blue eyes you could get lost in. I was snapped out of my trance by being pulled by my brother. I looked at him confused untill I looked back at the alpha to see his eyes full of fury and being held by a beta and a pack worrier. "You are to weak to be my mate! You are a human! You will never succeed." He growled. I looked at him wide eyed. They don't know what and who we are, all I know is that the alpha wolf is my mate... I'm a mermaid, the last purple tailed mermaid and hunted by many, and I'm in hiding. I smiled and walked up to him changing my eyes to my bright purple and looking at him. "If you only knew" then I turned on my heels walking out of he school with my brothers in tow. ------------- Bryce is the next alpha of the Dark Moon pack. He is the player, the normal non-mated alpha. He has bright blue eyes and black hair. When he meets his mate he is outraged to find out that she is human....or so he thinks. Marine is not like every mermaid girl, she is special and due to her royal blood her and her brother have. They can shift from mermaid to human, but if they come in contact with water in human form they shift in a minute flat. But what happens when she meets the alpha and is her mate. He thinks she human?  She's not. She is the last purple finned mermaid out there. She has many powers which include anything water or sea related. Will he find out her secret? Will he want her back?

guys please don't read this anymore lmao i write totally differently now💋 _________________ In a future where humans are genetically modified -- 'altered' -- at the age of sixteen, the world has been, until now, a safe place. Without changing a person's personality, undergoing the Alteration perfects their appearance, IQ, and even their immunity to diseases. No human passes the age of sixteen without being Altered. In the blink of an eye, things change. An ominous message is sent out to all of those below the age of sixteen, providing precise instructions that suggest they flee. Simultaneously, a deadly virus starts to spread all about the world, attacking only the Altered -- every human over the age of sixteen. The virus eats at the modified human brain, and soon the Unaltered begin to realise that the Altered are losing their minds. Home is no longer safe. Friends and family turn on one another, losing control of their own minds and bodies. The Unaltered aren't safe. Even if the virus isn't attacking them, the ones with the virus are. Set on a pristine, futuristic Earth, this is the apocalypse like you've never seen it before. (Rated mature for graphic depictions of violence and mild language.) The Tattoo | Maze Runner | Gally x Reader by CrankThatWICKEDWolf
47 parts Complete Mature
SERIES DISCONTINUED :C I wanted to write a Gally x reader story because Gally gets a lot of hate sometimes and he's underrated :/ Some of this will be my own little AU of what I believe are the sexualities of the characters, gender identities, including my own characters with LGTBQIA+ aspects, including some characters who survive. This is my story, and I hope you enjoy it :) ----------------------------------------------- RELATIONSHIP TYPE: Enemies To Lovers ----------------------------------------------- CHARACTER IMPERFECTION: God Complex ----------------------------------------------- "Hey, Gal!" You chirp, spinning on your heel. "Hey, that was cool." His eyebrows raise in slight surprise, now letting reality sink in that you are actually his girl. And this is what he has to deal with. "Wow, you really are hyper today." "You said it!" You grin. You feel so much energy going through you after good nights of sleep, well. Goodnights as best as you can get. "Here, take this." He hands you something and you start turning it in your hand almost immediately after receiving it. Looking down at it curiously to see some sort of wooden turn. It's kind of like the door handles, or a rower for a fishing rod. Except it's only the handle for a fishing rod. No rod or line. So it's basically just a fidgety piece of wood. You start turning both sides, spinning it around in your hand. "Easy there." Gally chuckles. He steps closer to you, rubbing his arm up and down your back to soothe you. "You doing okay?" "Yep." You chirp, grinning up at him. He double-checks your expression. His eye staring into yours to see how you're feeling. When he's sure you're not too stressed out, he removes his arm from you and throws a rag over his shoulder. "Okay, stick by me. Ya hyper little bunny..." I obviously do not own Maze Runner or the characters, that belongs to James Dashner :) Start Date: 13/08/21 End Date: 11/09/21

"You guys aren't going to budge on this, are you? You- you don't even have a proper boat, there's none of the cannons or anything. Contrary to what seems to be popular belief, it's hard breaking laws after so many years of running a benevolent kingdom. You guys know about where the empires are, and free trade agreements, and the structural integrity of certain buildings, not whatever it is you're planning." "So what?" Joel said, seemingly taking on the brunt of this debate. "We can, I dunno, steal treasure from the abandoned empires. We know where all their stuff is anyway, so hah, take that-" There was a pause. A realization shared among all three in the conversation, if you will. Not quite a lull, per se-this is something that would be marked in a script, that would be etched into history, that would seal their fates in aptly said teasing words. "Joel," began Lizzie, "Did you just come up with a near-flawless plan to become pirates?" He seemed to consider this. Looked to Jimmy, offered him a shit-eating grin. "Sorry, lad. I think you just led us right to a solution." - OR; Joel & Lizzie decide that they're best suited for a life at sea. An old friend from years past (it's only been a month or two) makes a treacherous deal with forces he doesn't understand. From their graves, ghosts of past empires arise. When present grudges and future feuds stir the pot, will our valiant heroes make it out alive? Oh, and also... there are hot women. Lots of them. Trust me. - hi all! this is essentially a sequel to High Tide, another book I have in my library- this is set to be a bit more epic though, I have a notebook's worth of planning! if you've not read it, this will make very little sense. still, welcome!
