So this is a story I wrote about a girl named Nova. She lives in a world where everyone has a supernatural power. Nova is 13, and if a person's power doesn't show by the time they're 14, they're given to the Government to either be tested or killed. The Government basically makes all the decisions for the whole country. So, Nova's 13, and she still hasn't discovered her powers. When her birthday comes, she still has no power. She can either be sent to the Government, for either testing or death, or she can risk her life running away. I created this story, I created these characters, the characters and the plot are mine. 𝖲𝗁𝖾 𝗂𝗌 𝖣𝖾𝗌𝗍𝗂𝗇𝖾𝖽 𝗍𝗈 𝖻𝖾 𝗁𝗂𝗌 𝖶𝗂𝖿𝖾. - - He says really my parents and your parents were very close. I say where does my aunt come into this? He says she's the one that took you away from me. Our parents made a deal that we'd marry by your 18th birthday. If they should die that deal will stand and I would be allowed to come for you. I say the deal kept you from coming before? He says til you turned 18. I say so technically we're not married yet? He says Technically No but soon. I say I assume I don't have a choice in this. He says I like to think of it as we're Destined to be together. I say You don't look like the kind of man that believes in Destiny. Everyone was evacuated from the home planet over 150 years ago. Our planet was dying, it was only a matter of time before our race was wiped out. We now live on a synthetic planet designed and built by our ancestors who came together from all parts of the globe to devise a plan to save us. We have lived peacefully for over a century.. Until now. Our lives were threatened when a mysterious and deadly virus broke out, killing entire communities at a time. The council says that they have a plan; they said that in order to prevent the death of more innocent people they will test every man, woman, and child for signs of the virus. Any person found to have been infected will be quarantined, the ones who die will be given a proper burial while the ones who survive are deemed carriers and are to be sent to the home planet to prevent further outbreak. I was prepared for the people I know and some I love being taken away for the greater good, but I never would have expected that among the list of people being taken from my community, that I would be one of them.. I survived the quarantine. Now for the survival of my planet I, and the other Carriers must be sent to the home planet. I'm going back to Earth.
