The life of a hunter is full of unexpected things. Dean however never thought that Cas would leave them to fix heaven and he never expected the feelings that would follow. Sam has found them a case in Ohio where children have gone missing from their beds inside of locked homes. Cas recognizes the town and circumstances from his past, so he decides to stay long enough to help solve the case. However, that is easier said than done. Not only are they baffled by the case, but all are distracted. Sam is worried for Dean, Dean fights his unwanted feelings for Cas, as well as the effects of the mark, and Cas struggles with what he should do and what he wants. Can they get it together enough to solve the case? Can they figure out a way to cure Dean of the mark?

Overanalyze - Destiel
Lots of overdoing. Castiel Novak was a 22 years old bass guitarist in a band called "Kings Of Purgatory" with his best friends Dean, Gabe and Benny. The Winter Storm (Destiel AU)
When Winter Graham moves to South Dakota with Sam, Dean, and Bobby, she finds out her distant friends aren't all that they seem. They're hunters of the supernatural, and now she is too. The brothers are stationary, staying at Bobby's, which means they have to go to high school. In Math class, Winter notices Dean has a particular interest in a guy named Castiel Novak, so she takes matters into her own hands, juggling hunting, homework, and a relationship that isn't even her own. Things work out just fine until an awry incident causes Dean and Cas to go missing after school one day. Soon after, a life-threatening trade may just cause Winter her life, but maybe it's worth it. This story involves Teen!Cas and Teen!Dean, so I suppose you could call it a high-school AU. The story is under major construction, so some parts are going to be a little jagged until i can go back and edit them. It's non-slash, but more on the fluffy side. The Winchester boys had lived next door to Novaks for as long as anyone in the sleepy little town could remember. Cas and Dean were always best friends, joined at the hip was an understatement. It wasn't until they got into high school, they finally acted upon their feelings of intense love for each other. Inseparable, utterly, stupidly and madly in love. They were both shattered, but their broken edges fit together perfectly. Both suffering from abusive households, both with a brother that they'd die for. Meant for each other. Until that fateful day, when Cas woke up on their 2 and 1/2 year anniversary, after the best night of his life, and found Dean gone, no note, and his place on the bed cold. Our story takes place 6 years later, when the Winchesters are back in town for college, and the Novaks never left. It's time for this sleepy town to be reawakened. Dean and Cas are 23, Sam is 22, Gabe is 24 Deans also more like his early season self, y'know when he was still vaguely in touch with his emotions (PSA: Trigger warnings will be at the top of each chapter if needed, stay safe my silver nuggets. Nicole Love is a hunter who had teamed up with both Winchester boys, and later leaves to team up with another hunter named Avery Simmons. Nicole gets an unexpected call from Dean Winchester who tells her about Sam drinking demon blood and the whole ordeal with Lucifer plus the apocalypse. Which is no bueno. Now, Lucifer broke free of the cage and is trying to raise mayhem again. Nicole makes Avery come along with her. When the two arrive at the Men of Letters bunker, they are greeted by familiar faces and soon begin to research. With the plan in set, Nicole gets pushed out to lure Lucifer to Sam and Dean. Like fishing, it takes a few nibbles before the bait is taken. All of a sudden the plan goes down hill, and Nicole is in Lucifer's firm grip.
