After the court meeting in Heaven, Emily tasked one of her angels to keep an eye on the Hazbin Hotel. And make sure they're safe. His name is Castiel. Cass always did what Emily told him, he always had this feeling around her, but he never could define it. So he goes to hell, and is there wait for the extermination, making sure not to interfere.
