Kassain D'Natrix, the Trash of the Royals, was ostracized his whole life for being a failure to the esteemed D'Natrix family. You see, the D'Natrix family has been known for producing many very talented mages. But Kassain, a member of this renowned family, was neglected, bullied, and treated worse than a servant by his sisters and parents because he has underdeveloped manaveins, severely limiting the amount of mana he can emit.  At 10 years old, he is still unable to use even the most basic spells and is disowned and discarded by his family. He's thrown into a forest known for being home to monsters and beasts with nothing but the clothes on his back.
