A mindless want, a craving for comfort and validation for such a feeling applied by fears.

A short story in which Dogday wakes from a nightmare. Unable to look one of his best friends in the face for hours on end. A churning need for comfort set in his mind. Dogday is simply tasked with forgetting the feelings churning in the pit of his stomach.
Or ; Dogday wakes from a nightmare and can't bear to be near Catnap. - Catnap, however, Thinks he may gift his friend, partner, an ounce of comfort despite this.
