Stargate Atlantis: Prologue

This story plays during the events of 'First Contact' (S5 E10) and 'The Lost Tribe' (S5 E11). On the outer edges of Pegasus, a secret race found a damaged Wraith Cruiser and decided to fix it to its original form and remotely send it back into Wraith controlled territory.

They succeed, and the Cruiser is nearly back in full operation. But, during the hyperdrive test, one of them noticed a subspace turbulence within the hyperdrive controls. Unfortunately, it was too late, and the ship evaporated just as it was going into hyperspace.

Luckily, no one was aboard the Cruiser, and they quickly managed to figure out the reason for the interference. They immediately contacted the planets in their territory and ordered them to suspend all gate activities until the matter can be resolved. The question is how?
