Monsters rampaged the land for two whole weeks. 

But humanity fights back, with people who awoke Gifts, special powers bestowed on them to push back against the onslaught. 

They are called Hunters. 

It has been 20 years since the Gate Break incident. 

Korea, the central hub of Hunters globally, built the elite Academy of Hunters, with the sole purpose of producing S-rank Hunters with extraordinary Gifts. 

Since then, everything has been peaceful.

Yang Ju-Lin has been working as a Mathematics [General Education] teacher in the Public District for 4 years. 
Despite Mathematics being one of the most neglected subjects in the Gifted world, she's holding up pretty well. The number of General Education teachers are dwindling after all.  
But the kids she's teaching...don't even care about the subject! Even if they are rich kids, they would still have the basic Mathematical knowledge...
What is she going to do? 

She's going to do her job and just hope for the best. 

It's a wonder she hasn't changed to teaching Economics but chose to continue Mathematics.

Life was dull, boring, and mechanical. I’ve always wondered if this would change. If something interesting will happen. I always hoped something interesting will happen. A falling meteor that would destroy half of town, an alien invasion, or even the Apocalypse. Anything, just to relieve me of this monotonous life I lead. “Urgh,” I groaned as I reached over to turn off the alarm clock that sounded like a hundred sirens in the early hours of dawn. The golden sun hasn’t come out to expel the surrounding darkness yet. I figured it would take an hour more or so for the sun to show its shining face, so I decided to eat breakfast and take a bath first. Thanks to the 'Female Human' for the forms and paperwork to file her special skills with her condition added to help out in case anyone went up against her in a fight. She is full-blown self-taught how to fight and she even learned how to use swords. Can a sorting someone calm her down before she kills someone cause they got her pissed off and she wants to kill them for it?
