The first sign something was off were the bright red lights in the sky coming from mars. Some said they could see plumes of smoke, others mentioned a distant green gas. No one was quite prepared for the martian invasion to commence. For the giant capsules to crash into Earth, bringing with them destruction and doom. In Breslau Germany a mother holds her son tight, fighting desperately for their own safety against the death rays overhead and the masses of people fleeing around her. Within the confines of a European battlefield, a newly minted Sergeant is forced to tackle with whats right for his squad versus the will of his heart. And back over in the United States a young woman is given a front row seat to the way bureaucracy works. With shady dealings afoot and a spy in their midst, can she uncover the truth before it's too late? A spiritual sequel to HG Well's acclaimed classic 'War of the Worlds', War for the World adjusts the time frame slightly and asks the question if 1942 humanity were faced with invaders from above, could they band together to save their planet, or simply tear each other apart.
