Sebastian Sallow is a very confident guy, when he moves to England and begins going to Hogwarts in their 6th year, he decides quickly who will be his first conquest. Anne always told him he could be very obsessive about things he wanted. The object of his current obsession is the talk of the school, she is gifted in most areas and is feisty. He is used to getting what he wants, why would this be any different? The obstacle in his way is her best friend, Ominis Gaunt. He is an insufferable prick who seems to see right through Sebastian's bravado. He insists on tagging along, or interjecting his low opinion of him constantly. Something about him gets under his skin more than anything, slowly his obsession ends up becoming proving Ominis wrong. Maybe he will learn something about himself in the process. Modern AU but still at Hogwarts Takes place about 11 years after Voldemort is defeated.
