This was one of those times when Doktor Frogg could empathize with Voltar. He never thought this would happen to the League of Super Evil's leader. The story was written as if meant for a TV movie I had in mind. It may contain gory bits and sensitive topics like depression, lack of self-worth, mental and emotional breakdowns, and self-harm. After the team tried to raid a bake sale, they were welcomed by the show's primary host, who was too interested in the group's leader. Frogg's unease with this host was clear as he tried to warn his team about how shady the place was. Of course, Voltar ignored the warnings. However, a supposed vendor named Mary Sue convinced Frogg of a way to leave the League by taking revenge on Voltar with candy. She did not specify what it would do to him. Soon, unexpected physical and emotional changes began happening to their leader, revealing a side of Voltar they had never seen before. Over time, Voltar turns into a monster, determined to prove he is a true villain. Frogg must choose to save his friend or cut his losses and become the villain he always wanted to be. Voltar falls prey to Frogg's trick of giving him a mysterious vendor's sweets, triggering a transformation into a monster driven by self-doubt and a thirst for validation. Frogg struggles to reconcile his loyalty to his friend with his own desperation to break free from the League's suffocating grip.

. Three years. It had been three years since he'd been taken, experimented on, had his DNA altered and became a freak of nature. He knew because he'd managed to peek at the computer when they dragged him into that dreaded room; the one they used to prod, poke and inject him with god-knows-what. He was considered their only success - meaning their illegal tests hadn't killed him or rendered him paralysed, or worse; brain dead. He was subject 254. And he was the only survivor. At least until she - subject 391 - moved into the cell next door. - - 18th June 2018 - Rank 1 #sciencefiction 17th May 2019 - Rank 4 #romance 22nd Feb 2019 - Rank 1 #superpowers -- ** NOW COMPLETED**
