I can see my breath puff in front of me as I walk. My body's rigid and stiff with each step, having spent hours in the gym last night, thoughts racing through my head. As much as my team doesn't want me to think it's my fault, I know it is. I should've done better. Should've pushed harder. It's my fault we lost. My fault I missed the last shot. Pulling open the doors I let the warmth surround my body. Closing my eyes as I let out the breath I hadn't realized I was holding. The sound of basketballs hitting the ground in the gymnasium just a few steps away fills my ears, the comforting sound easing my mind. Pushing open the double doors my shoes squeak against the wooden floor, the doors close behind me and the basketballs, laughter and chatter come to a halt. The eyes of the team are on me as I walk across the court. And that's when I hear it. The most amazing laughter I've ever heard fills my head, my thoughts. And my eyes find her. Her long brown hair shines in the light of the gym. Her smile brightens up everything around her. My gosh, she's beautiful.

Now, as a senior in high school, Sarah meets Leon again, but this time he's not here to kill her. Instead, he wants something more--her love. Can Sarah find it in her heart to see him differently? Has Leon really changed? Even so, the game of love isn't so easy, and Sarah will soon realize just how complicated and deadly it can be. *NOTE: I wrote this when I was in MIDDLE SCHOOL. So a lot of my values on relationships now as a college student are quite different. Therefore, there are some aspects that I don't agree with. Keep in mind, again, that this is for ENTERTAINMENT, and therefore does not truly reflect on me as a person.
